The showcase takes place at West Hollywood Park, where you’ll find treats, photo ops, and festive fun at every turn. Whether your pet is a pint-sized
pumpkin, a fearsome werewolf, or a ghostly ghoul, this is an event to celebrate all things cute and creepy. All pets must be leashed and under their guardian’s supervision. Come make un-fur-gettable memories with fellow pet lovers—it’s going to be a howling good time! No pre-registration required. Movies in the Park: Winter Series

Join us this spring for the popular Movies in the Park! Pack a picnic basket (no alcohol), blanket or low-profile lawn chair, and enjoy a movie under the stars. Families with children are encouraged to look up the movie prior to the event.

Picasso Pets is back! Pet owners, paw-pare for another tail-wagging fun time celebrating the su-paw star in your life with professionally drawn caricatures, exciting giveaways, and one-of-a-kind pet art pieces (made with non-toxic materials). All pets must be kept on a leash and remain under the control of their guardian. All craft supplies will be provided. There is a limit of one caricature drawing per pet. In case of rain, the event will be moved indoors to the Doheny Room located on the 2nd floor of the West Hollywood Aquatic and Recreation Center in West Hollywood Park. 

We will have an on-site wait list for caricature drawings available the day of the event (Saturday, April 3, 2027). You may sign up for the on-site wait list starting at 11am. Admission from the waitlist is not guaranteed and will depend on space. Please check in at the Info Booth to sign up for the on-site wait list.

 Junk in the Trunk is now the Plummer Parking Lot Sale!

This vibrant community event features a diverse array of sellers, offering unique finds and great deals. With its lively atmosphere and engaging offers, the West Hollywood Plummer Parking Lot Sale is a must attend event for all members of the community!

Join the Recreation Services Division as we host a rummage sale! For sellers, it is highly encouraged to register as early as possible as spots sell out quickly! Registration is $15 each, which includes two assigned parking spots.

• Set up begins at 9:00 am.
• No cars will be allowed to enter the South Lot after 10:00 am.
• Compact cars and SUVs only; no oversized vehicles permitted.
• One canopy is allowed per spot. The canopy must be no bigger than 10 ft. x 10 ft. and must be properly anchored.

FREE ADMISSION FOR SHOPPERS. You might get a great deal! Give something a new life. Who knows what treasures you’ll find!

The City of West Hollywood's Recreation Services Division invites the community to the annual WeHo Rec Expo! The Expo will highlight the various programs and events we have to offer, as well as high-energy interactive demos. The community is invited to learn more about recreation programs and events for children, adults, and older adults to visit the Expo to enjoy the music, giveaways, and exciting activities sure to be fun for the entire family.

The City of West Hollywood and the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station are partnering to help give back to those in need this holiday season. The 37th Annual West Hollywood Toy and Food Drive will be accepting donations from November 9, 2026, through December 18, 2026. For the past three decades, the generous contributions of local businesses and individuals have helped provide countless local families with food and gifts in the spirit of the holiday season. The West Hollywood Toy and Food Drive provides families in the community with a holiday meal, as well as toys for every child in the family. 

The cost to help one family is just $100, and up to 10 families can be sponsored by donating $975. Checks may be mailed to West Hollywood City Hall (Attn: Toy Drive), 8300 Santa Monica Boulevard.

The City of West Hollywood invites community members to join City officials, staff members, and representatives from the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station and the Los Angeles County Fire Department in honoring local veterans. As part of the City’s annual tribute to all who have served in the military, this year the City will highlight transgender veterans to acknowledge their service and increase visibility within the veteran community.

The air will be thick with the scent of popcorn, pumpkin spice, and crisp autumn breeze. Children and pets are encouraged to dress up in their best costume to showcase their creativity. The main stage will include spooky performers, entertaining storytelling, and a costume showcase. Enjoy carnival games, arts and crafts, face painting, and a trackless train! The ghoulish and mystical haunted house is back for the third year in a row, sure to bring laughter and a perfect blend of fright and delight.
