The City of West Hollywood has launched the West Hollywood Green Business Certification Program as part of the California Green Business Network (CAGBN) and WeHo Climate Action. The City’s Green Business Program is an official City certification program to recognize and encourage efficient, profitable, and sustainable business operations.
To support businesses and the WeHo Climate Action goals, WeHo’s Green Business Program and its services are being offered at no cost to businesses. If you are interested in becoming a green business, click HERE.
Free Certification Assistance
Participation in the Green Business Program [Program] is entirely voluntary. The City of West Hollywood recognizes some businesses may have barriers to participate, such as time and money.
With these barriers in mind, the City of West Hollywood offers free assistance via Sustainability Experts through the entire Program process. Experienced Program coordinators are available to provide step-by-step guidance, resources, and tools to help businesses from beginning to end.
Additionally, the City is offering a limited number of rebates for qualifying businesses for costs incurred to achieve the criteria like purchasing less toxic cleaning supplies. Businesses interested in these rebates should sign up as soon as possible.
