Celebrate Lesbian and Queer Women Visibility Week with a special Short Film Festival co-sponsored by the City of West Hollywood and hosted by the June L. Mazer Lesbian Archives. This event features a slate of 26 short films celebrating LGBTQ women, including new works from emerging directors alongside archival films from Paula Goldberg, Betsy Kalin, Marjorie Kaye, Jenni Olsen, Abigail Severance, and Rosser Goodman.
Based in West Hollywood, the Mazer Lesbian Archives is a vital force in collecting, preserving, and uplifting lesbian, feminist, and queer women’s history. Rosser Goodman, who programmed archival shorts for the Film Fatale screening series and networking event for women-centric films from 1997 through the early 2000s, contributes to this curated lineup.
Tickets range from $10 to $25, with a minimal processing fee. Tickets may be purchased for a specific time block or for the full duration of the event at: https://www.mazerlesbianarchives.org/mazer-events/2026/4/25/mazer-lesbian-archives-short-film-festival.
Refreshments will be served, and no one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
