The Finance & Budget Subcommittee, comprising the Mayor and Vice Mayor, currently reviews the City budget before its adoption by the full Council. Additionally, this subcommittee may provide direction on matters relating to capital improvements, homelessness, public safety, and other budget topics that span multiple years. This is a standing subcommittee that is subject to the agenda and open meeting requirements of the Brown Act. The public is invited to attend and provide feedback and input on topics related to the budget.
